The Berkey Fluoride Filters thread directly onto the Black Berkey Filters and help to control certain targeted contaminents. These filters are designed to work with all Berkey Water Filtriation systems when paired with the Black Berkey Filters, except the Go Berkey and Sport Berkey models.
Berkey Fluoride Filter (Set of 2)
The Berkey water filter fluoride reduction elements work by adding the ability to remove the contaminants listed below. For the Fluoride filters to be effective you must pair them with the Black Berkey Filters if you have them installed. So, if you had 4 Black Berkey Filters installed in one of your systems you would need to have 4 Fluoride filters installed to match.
Removes
- Up to 97% of Fluoride
- Sodium Fluoride
- Sodium Fluorosilicate
- Fluorosilic Acid
- Pre-oxidized Arsenic III and Arsenic V
- MTBE
- and other heavy metals.
Lifespan
- 1,000 gallons per pair or every year, whichever one of these comes first.
Notes
- During installation make sure not to turn more than 8 full turns.
